Recent basement ceiling project in andover
One of our recent projects in a basement living room, hallway, and bathroom ceiling in Andover.
The homeowner wanted to remove the existing popcorn ceiling texture, but they were also worried about some past water damage stains. The goal was to inspect the water damage to assess if another piece of sheet rock was necessary or if the skim coat could cover. The skim coat did cover the issue. In the bathroom, the popcorn texture was already falling off in spots, and some spots did require a more extensive repair.
For this project, we removed the blades of the ceiling fan for easier access during the scraping, skim coating, and painting (by owners).
This job was especially memorable because the owners added a large batch of brownies in addition to the final payment :)
